In the age of short hiatuses and sensational reunions, it's hard to accept that Swedish House Mafia have departed the EDM scene for good, especially considering their role in shaping that scene for the last 10 years. But if One Last Tour does turn out to be their swan song—the set was recorded in Los Angeles on the second-to-last night of their farewell tour of the same name—it's one heck of a note to go out on. The two-hour dance-athon features singles, remixes, and rarities alongside SHM's biggest hits, including 'Don't You Worry Child,' 'Greyhound,' and of course 'Save the World,' which concludes their set here as the crowd of 70,000 sings along. SHJ shows are famous for being among the biggest spectacles in modern music, each a fantasia of mesmeric visuals, sweeping crescendos, blockbuster drops, and ecstatic atmospherics. All of those are captured here for posterity, at least until the Swedes reform for their epic comeback.

All of those are captured here for posterity, at least until the Swedes reform for their epic comeback. Swedish House Mafia were a house music supergroup featuring DJ/producers Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, each of whom was an accomplished DJ/producer and label owner in his own right.
The members of the Swedish group initially teamed up in the mid-2000s, when they toured together as DJs and collaborated from time to time on one another's productions. (Eric Prydz was also a member for a while.) Axwell, Angello, and Ingrosso's breakout performance as Swedish House Mafia came on August 12, 2008, when they played the Main Room at Cream Amnesia in Ibiza, Spain as part of Radio 1's Essential Mix Ibiza. Several years later, the trio signed a major-label recording contract with EMI (Astralwerks in the U.S.) and made their commercial production debut with the summer 2010 anthem 'One,' also known as 'One (Your Name),' the latter version featuring Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes on vocals. The song was a Top Ten hit in the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium, and landed on the group's debut album, 2010's Until One. Two years later the group members announced they were breaking up and returning to their solo careers, although only after a farewell tour and the release of their second album, 2012's Until Now. Like the debut, it was extremely successful - platinum-certified in Sweden. The release of One Last Tour: A Live Soundtrack brought the project to a close in 2014.
